GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, SONEPUR LIBRARY

The Library of Govt. Polytechnic, Sonepur is a well equipped library having 3040 Sq. Ft. with resources like books, journals, magazines, reference collections etc. meant for both Technical education as well as fundamental resources accessible for students, faculties and other staffs of this institution. It offers the facilities of Digital library service to accelerate the acquisition and circulation process through the digital software E-Granthalaya 4.0 and provides the service of web OPAC which contains the link to the resources of library. The E-Library upholds different online databases subscribed through DELNET such as 910 E-journals, 90 E-books, 37 E- News Papers with a LAN speed of 100 Mbps.

LIBRARY STAFF

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Use of Mobile Phone is not allowed in the Library.
2. ID Card is mandatory for using library.
3. Students must sign in the Library entry register while entering into the Library.
4. Silence should maintain strictly in Library and Reading Room.
5. Bags not allowed in the Library and stack area.
6. Discipline and queue must be maintained in library.
7. Read the Library Notice Board time to time for updates.
8. Co-operate the library staff for smooth functioning and library services.
9. If you have any problem regarding library please contact to librarian.
10. Only Admitted students and students with valid reason and valid permission from authority will be allowed to use the library. Outsiders and ex-students without permission are not allowed.
11. Misbehaviors in the library will be punished or penalized according to the college authority or library membership will be cancelled.
12. Students must return the Book to the library, otherwise No due Certificate will not issue from the library.
13. Eating, sleeping in the library is not allowed it will be treated as misbehaviors and will be penalized as per the college authority.
14. Handle the Library Book carefully.
15. Return the books on due date or renewed otherwise fine will be charged at the time of clearance
